The correct to punish crime in Britain that is also Islamic

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/10457112.stm

Flog them in public to punish them and to give the public the satisfaction of witnessing this.

Then send them on their way.

And execute the ones who deserve to be executed to remove the possibility of their ever reoffending

Of course, because this would work beautifully, the liberals will object and bleat about compassion, tolerance and wring their hands.  However, the time for regime-change comes ever closer the more the vacuity of liberal thinking shows itself up for what it is: pernicious, ineffectual, incoherent and intellectually bankrupt.

Is there anything decent from Islam that you would like to bring to Britain? Because everything you have ever cited from this religion is horrid. A society that allows torture/beatings by the state is a crumbling and backward one.

Nonsense. This country used to have such things here too. When it did, its people had a better brighter future.

It is called corporal and capital punishment.

Turning these punishments into a public spectacles has the effect of showing that justice is being done, gratifying the victim and also serves as a warning to others.

Only soft-headed liberals baulk at the economy and effectiveness of such a policy.

They of course prefer something less effective, more expensive and more complicated.

Such a dull mantra of yours 'soft headed liberals' a useless and futile argument for everything. British born people just wouldn't want to go and watch people get beaten, because we are a kind and compassionate nation that's why we allow people like you to come and live here. The Britain you keep on about wouldn't want you to come and live here, you'd never get in. Ironic isn't it? (Irony another thing we're good at)

I am really not interested in what might have been.

The fact is I am here and think a few things could be better run in this country under different policies.

You obviously think everything is hunky dory so I guess we haven't got that much to say to each other.

It is good of you to keep coming back though. I hope to make your efforts worth your while.

Not hunky dory at all, just don't want to live in a barbaric and, frankly, inhumane society. You seem to have a bizarre grasp of what is possible, freedom of expression would not be possible in a society that publicly flogged it's criminals. The two ideas would never share a page.

But you have no solutions. You only object to the solutions of others.

The idea of what is civilised is completely subjective anyway.

I am sure the people who practice female circumcision think themselves very civilised.

Whatever works is fine by me.

For a start I would ensure those that can work, do work or get far less than those who get off the arse and help themselves.
